Andy Naidu is a prominent Melbourne lawyer and Deputy President of LawHelp Australia, with a strong record of success in corporate law, litigation, and international commercial matters. A former member of the Victorian Bar, he built a thriving interlocutory practice and served for many years on the Victorian Bar’s Duty Barristers Scheme Committee before founding Acrolex, a results-driven law firm excelling in sharp commercial legal strategy.
He is the Chief Legal Counsel of Senko Advanced Components Australia Pty Ltd and co-founder and Executive Director of an innovative private equity firm with interests in emerging markets. Through Acrolex, Andy also founded and leads the Australian Salvadoran Legal Support (ASLS) Program, a pioneering initiative providing legal support to the Salvadoran-Australian community and fostering transnational legal collaboration.
Andy has advised a broad spectrum of clients including political parties, quick service restaurants (QSRs), religious institutions, entertainers, nonprofit organisations, tech startups, and community groups. He has acted for clients across diverse jurisdictions including Malaysia, Tanzania, Cambodia, Indonesia, India, Bahrain, China, Uganda, Mauritius, and Thailand. His international practice spans corporate structuring, regulatory strategy, and the development of global supply chains across technology, hospitality, education, and professional services.
He has played a key role in building LawHelp’s institutional capacity and advocacy framework, including leading a working group focused on implementing initiatives to reduce family violence in Victoria through legal education, advice, and reform.
Andy is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and has sat on Basketball Victoria’s Member Protection Tribunal since 2009. He was also the Deputy Editor of Malaysian Indian Business Magazine, based in Malaysia.
He previously managed commercial growth for the Australian Peacekeepers and Peacemakers Veterans Association, a not-for-profit supporting veterans and their families with welfare, entitlements, and reintegration. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of a Patriotic Fund.
Andy holds an Applied Masters in Law and formerly lectured at Deakin University’s Institute of Koorie Education. He is widely respected for his cross-sector leadership, legal clarity, and ability to navigate complex legal, commercial, and policy environments both in Australia and abroad.
