The Salvadoran Empowerment through Remote Entrepreneurship (SERE) program is a transformative initiative designed to equip Salvadorans in the diaspora with the knowledge, tools, and networks needed to launch, manage, and scale small businesses—regardless of their geographic location.

Rooted in the principles of self-determination, economic inclusion, and cultural pride, SERE offers a dynamic platform for Salvadorans living abroad to harness their entrepreneurial spirit and turn ideas into sustainable ventures. Whether participants are aspiring business owners or existing entrepreneurs looking to adapt to the digital economy, SERE supports their journey with targeted training, mentorship, and real-world community engagement.

Program Components

Entrepreneurship Training Workshops

SERE delivers a structured series of workshops tailored to the unique experiences and challenges faced by Salvadorans living abroad. Participants learn foundational and advanced business skills including:

Breakfast Networking Events

SERE hosts regular breakfast networking events, training and conferences which serve as an energising space for participants to connect with fellow Salvadoran entrepreneurs, local business partners, community leaders, and guest speakers from both public and private sectors. These events offer more than just conversation—they are a catalyst for collaboration, cross-cultural business development, and peer-to-peer mentorship.
